The Story Solution
Coaching programmes for parents, educators, and therapists.
...Launching Soon....
Raising, teaching, and supporting children doesn’t have to be a power struggle.
Together, we can move beyond outdated, authoritarian approaches toward calmer, more connected ways of communicating values.
The solution lies in stories.
The Story Solution brings parents, educators, and therapists a simple idea: stories make connection easier. When adults feel tired, unsure, or stuck, story-based tools offer a practical way forward—helping us communicate what matters, make sense of emotions, and build closer relationships with the children and adolescents in our care.
Created by Dr Giuliana Fenech, who has spent twenty years working with storytelling in educational, community, and therapeutic settings, The Story Solution offers guidance, structure, and support. These programmes are designed for anyone who wants more meaningful, manageable ways of connecting with children and adolescents, even when life feels busy or overwhelming.
The Story Solution-Parents
A Coaching and Story-Based Practice Programme for Parents & Caregivers
Children thrive when they feel seen, understood, and connected. But modern parenting is heavy: long workdays, emotional load, constant decision-making, and the pressure to “do it right” can leave parents exhausted and unsure how to support their children in the ways they want to.
The Story Solution for Parents is a comprehensive programme designed to help parents build stronger, warmer, and more confident connections with their children through the power of story.
Drawing on narrative practice, children’s literature, developmental psychology, and co-regulation theory, the programme offers simple but transformative tools you can use immediately in daily life.

The Story Solution-Educators
A Professional Development Programme for Teachers, School Leaders, Learning Support Educators & Youth Workers
The Story Solution for Educators is a training programme that equips schools and educators with practical, story-based approaches to teaching and classroom wellbeing. Rooted in narrative theory, children’s literature, and trauma-responsive educational practice, the programme helps educators use stories intentionally to support learning, behaviour, and relational connection.
What educators learn:
How stories support attention, memory, and meaning-making across the curriculum
Using narrative as a tool for co-regulation and emotional safety in the classroom
Story-led strategies for reducing conflict, anxiety, and classroom overwhelm
Selecting and using diverse children’s literature to promote inclusion and global citizenship
Techniques for storytelling with groups: oral storytelling, structured story-sharing, guided narrative discussions
Creating story-based rituals that anchor the school day and strengthen classroom community
Supporting neurodiverse learners through multi-sensory and narrative approaches
Using stories as soft-entry points to difficult topics: grief, transitions, identity, emotions
How the programme works:
Core training sessions (online or in-person) introducing the foundations of story-based pedagogy
Demonstration lessons or model activities educators can use immediately
Resource packs with story guides, prompts, and classroom tools
Optional school-based consulting to help educators embed practices across the year
Follow-up circles for reflection, troubleshooting, and continued growth
By the end of the programme, educators feel more confident, more equipped, and more connected to the children they teach — and classrooms feel calmer, kinder, and more relationally attuned.
The Story Solution-Therapists
Training in Narrative and Story-Based Practice for Therapists, Counsellors, and Mental Health Practitioners
Stories are how humans make sense of their lives. They hold our fears, our strengths, our histories, and our hopes. In therapeutic work, stories become pathways to insight, regulation, and relational repair.
The Story Solution for Therapists is a specialised training programme that supports practitioners in integrating story and narrative techniques into therapeutic work with adults, children, and families. It blends narrative therapy, Gestalt principles, developmental psychology, and the craft of storytelling to enrich therapeutic presence and deepen client transformation.
What therapists learn:
Foundations of narrative therapy and story-based intervention
Working with clients’ personal myths, internal narratives, and meaning-making systems
Using metaphor, imagery, and symbolic story elements to support emotional processing
Understanding the therapeutic power of children’s literature and folklore
Developing personalised story interventions for anxiety, grief, anger, identity, and relational challenges
Integrating story into family therapy, co-regulation work, and attachment repair
Trauma-aware storytelling: how to invite story safely without retraumatisation
Using stories as projective tools for exploration, play, and imaginative re-authoring
Supporting therapists’ own reflective practice through story and creativity
How the Programme Works:
Core training modules with theory, demonstration, and guided practice
Clinical examples and case-based learning from therapeutic and educational settings
Story creation labs for designing therapeutic stories tailored to client needs
A therapist resource library with narratives, templates, prompts, and structured story exercises
Supervision circles (optional) for practitioners who want ongoing guidance as they integrate story-based methods
Certification available for practitioners who complete all components.
By the end of the programme, therapists gain a richer, more creative toolkit — one that deepens therapeutic alliance, helps clients access emotion safely, and brings the healing potential of narrative into their everyday practice.
